When is the Music Learning Spring Tour?

This year we will sponsor one spring tour to correspond with most schools’ Spring Break.  The trip is Monday, March 11 – Wednesday, March 13, 2024.

Where are we going?

This year we are traveling across Texas performing and visiting San Antonio, TX.  We will visit Natural Bridge, the Alamo, Six Flags Fiesta Texas, and Sea World.

Who can come on the Spring Tour?

All Music Learning students, parents, grandparents, and siblings can attend the Spring Tour.  Every band member will perform throughout the tour.  Many families choose to take their entire family on the tour as a fun filled spring vacation.  It is a great way to travel and play with the band at the same time!

How do we get there and where do we stay?

Your Spring Tour tuition includes round trip travel by chartered luxury motor coach.  We hire a large, professional bus company with an excellent safety record.  All drivers are full time bus operators.  The busses they have scheduled for us to use feature comfortable seating, DVD players, a restroom, and WiFi.  All participants stay in the official Spring Tour hotel.

Can we just drive our own vehicle on the trip?

We have found that the trip is the most positive experience and the best value for parents, students, and the Music Learning staff members when everyone travels together.  The Spring Tour is a ton of fun, but it can also be a tiring experience.   Save the headache and wear and tear on your vehicle by traveling with the band.  Transportation is included with your Spring Tour tuition.

My child is only in fourth grade, do many students his/her age go on this tour?

Absolutely!  Many students from all grade levels attend the Spring Tour.

Are parents required to chaperone the Spring Tour?

This trip is very well chaperoned by the Music Learning Staff, official Tour Medic, and many parent chaperones.  While we do not require that any specific parents chaperone the tour with their child, we do encourage every parent to come. Our typical trip student to chaperone ratio is less than 4:1.  Additionally we take numerous safety measures including two-way FCC licensed radio communication between the staff and background checks on all parent chaperones to insure each participant’s safety.  We have an official Tour Medic, a fully licensed medical doctor or nurse, who dispenses medication and handles any other minor bumps and bruises that could happen on the trip.

Wow, this trip sounds like so much fun with so many activities.  How much can all this cost?

You’re right – this trip is loads of fun jam packed with concerts, attractions, and fun.  Your trip cost includes motor coach transportation, lodging, meals, Trip ID & Security Materials, a souvenir t-shirt, attraction admission, and more.  The trip cost is based on when you choose to sign up for the Spring Tour.  Registration is time-sensitive and space is limited.  All students, parents, siblings, and guests pay the same trip fee and receive the same access to attractions while on the trip.  Also, we have to point out that once your payment is received, we incur costs and we start planning for you to attend the trip, so all payments are non-refundable and non-transferrable; no exceptions unless you enroll in the Tuition Refund Program.

Early Registration Pricing before December 10 is $729 per person, with only a $200 deposit required to save your space.

Regular Registration Pricing before February 5 is $769 per person, divided into two payments

Late Registration Pricing after February 5  is $829-$879 per person and is based on availability.

Space is limited?  I guess I should send in my forms and payment soon, right?

Yes.

Anything else?

All of us at Music Learning are excited about our Spring Concert Tour!  We hope that the great musicians in the band and their families will be able to go on a fun and exciting Concert Tour with some great experiences along the way!
